With supply chain issues severely impacting commercial kitchen repairs, it is important for operators to protect their equipment. Following the equipment manufacturers’ recommendations for cleaning and maintenance is a great first step. You can even handle some of the cleaning and maintenance in-house. However, other jobs need to be done by a trained technician, so having a planned maintenance plan with a service agent is beneficial for your equipment. Lastly, keeping staff trained on how to properly use and care for equipment is especially important.
